Mas Pinturas y Dibujos
Here are some of the drawings and paintings that we have most recently finished. Other than consuming ourselves in art-making, we are also taking private Spanish lessons 3 times a week. It is helping us be more "conversational".
Argentina vs. Chile Futbol Game
This past weekend we went to the Argentina versus Chile soccer game. This game was a First Round World Cup 2010 Qualifier for South America. The stadium was full with crazy and very loud Argentine fans all dressed in their light blue and white. The colors signify the colors of the sky--celeste.

Artwork
Over the 3 months that we have been here, we have spent significant time working on our artwork. We are using imagery and inspiration from Argentina and Uruguay and will continue to travel around South America over the next 9 months. Recently over the last 2 weeks we have been completely engrossed in our artwork. We have several mediums of work including drawings, paintings, and collage images. We have also taken 1000's of photos during our time here as you have seen examples of in our blog thus far. We have worked in the following mediums: oil paint, acrylic paint, pen/ink, collage, gold/copper/silver leaf, photography, and digital manipulation using Photoshop and Illustrator. We hope you enjoy a sampling of our work.
